Seventy Years of Sevens

One week to go! (And maybe it’s a little bit early to start thinking about things in terms of hours, but we’ve only got 168 to go. Actually, since the solstice happens next Sunday morning at 10:03AM ET, we’re even closer than that!)

In terms of time,  let’s take a trip back about seven decades and see what was happening on this day across these many years. (And just for fun, I’ll throw some info in on a guy you may know – just for some local flavor. (-:)
